1. General
InternJob.am (the "Platform", "we") is an online platform connecting Armenian university students with employers for internships, entry-level roles, and micro-projects. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Republic of Armenia's Law on Personal Data Protection (HO-49, 2015).
By using the Platform, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. What data we collect
For students:
- Name, email address, phone number
- University, year of study, field of study
- Bio, skills, work experience
- CV and certificates (files)
- Availability schedule
- Messages exchanged with employers
For employers:
- Company name and contact details
- Job posting content
- Billing details (legal name, tax ID, address, bank account) — only for paid plans
Automatically collected:
- Basic account activity data (login dates, views)
- Cookies and local storage — for session persistence and preferences (e.g. language choice)
3. Why we collect this data
- Creating and managing your account
- Matching students with jobs (including via AI)
- Enabling communication between parties
- Legally required billing/accounting records
- Improving the Platform and maintaining security
4. Sharing data with other users
This is an important point we want to be explicit about.
When a student applies to a job and the employer accepts the application, or when an employer invites a student and the student accepts, the contact details of both parties (email, phone number) may become visible to each other for the purpose of direct communication (scheduling interviews, calls, further discussion). This only happens after mutual acceptance, and only between those two specific parties.
By using the Platform, you understand and accept this as an integral part of the service.
5. Third-party services
To operate the Platform, we rely on the following trusted third-party services, which may process relevant data:

Under Armenian law, you have the right to:

- Request correction
- Request deletion
- Withdraw your consent at any time

8. Cookies
The Platform uses essential cookies/local storage to maintain your login session and language preference. Analytics or advertising cookies are not currently used.
9. Future features
When push notifications are introduced on the Platform, a separate, explicit opt-in will be required, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
